➔ Verzasca Valley & Locarno
Overview
In Verzasca Valley, the river flows in vivid emerald tones over smooth rocks, forming crystal-clear natural pools where you can even swim and cool off. The rocks are naturally colourful, and the scenery feels almost unreal. A highlight is the Verzasca Dam, famous for its appearance in a James Bond scene (GoldenEye), where one of the most iconic bungee jumps was filmed.
From there, the journey continues to Locarno on Lake Maggiore, with palm-lined promenades, cafés, and a relaxed Dolce Vita atmosphere around Piazza Grande.
A perfect mix of swimming in mountain pools and enjoying Mediterranean lake life.
Optional: You can also book a bungee jump yourself at the Verzasca Dam (advance reservation required), available from Easter weekend to mid-October, for CHF 255. We can also take care of the booking and reservation for you.
