Yes, safety is our top priority. The tour follows mainly quiet lakeside and countryside paths. However, good basic cycling skills are required — if you don’t feel confident riding a bike, participation is unfortunately not possible for safety reasons.
No special experience is needed, but you should be comfortable riding a regular bicycle. Before the tour starts, we’ll give you a short introduction on how to use the e-bike safely.
Yes, helmets are provided and must be worn throughout the tour.
For safety and comfort reasons, the tour only takes place in dry conditions. In case of rain or wet weather, the tour will be postponed or cancelled with the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
The e-bike tour is open to adults aged 18 and above who feel confident cycling independently. Unfortunately, younger participants cannot join for safety and insurance reasons.
The best time for this tour is from spring to autumn, when the weather is mild and the scenery around Lucerne is at its most beautiful.
No, the walking part of this tour is only about one hour, including stops and photo breaks. It’s a relaxed stroll through Lucerne’s Old Town with plenty of time to enjoy the sights.
Switzerland’s weather can change quickly, so it’s best to dress in layers. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen on warm days, and a light jacket or warmer clothes during cooler or changing weather — especially in spring and autumn.
